My approach and passion are dedicated to helping clients develop or restore healthy, productive and meaningful lives.

As a registered counsellor I practice from a place of openness and curiosity and love working with individuals, couples and families.  I specialise in the areas of well-being, anxiety, depression, relationship/s and parenting.  I endeavour to ensure my clients feel heard, respected and supported, all within a safe and caring counselling relationship that is both encouraging and reassuring.

My counselling sessions with each client are focused specifically on their needs and goals whilst establishing a therapeutic relationship.  I tailor my approach and techniques that best fit with my client’s requirements and circumstances, as I don’t agree in a ‘’one size fits all’ approach. 
 

I believe clients have the answers and my work in session is to help rediscover abilities to find those answers.  This we do together!

It has been mentioned over the years that I am authentic, transparent and genuinely care for each client.

​

Therapy isn’t only for people who are facing difficulties.  It can also be used as a tool to help you continue to educate yourself in different ways to handle various situations.  Strategies learnt throughout the sessions can also be utilised for other future life challenges and/or unexpected life events.

Over the years I have worked in corporate, school environments and non-profit organisations and have always been dedicated to mental health and well-being. 

 

Whilst working in education, I was regularly approached by adolescent students and adults who were longing to be heard and not judged, each with vastly varying problems and life challenges.  It was at this point I decided to return to study and establish my own private practice to assist individuals and families adequately fulfill, support and nurture their mental health and well-being.

My goal is to help you place issues/concerns into perspective, develop a better understanding of yourself, whilst assisting with where you would like to be and start living the life you want to be living.
